Reverend Fran Thornberry Callaway, 80, of Central Metropolis, AR, was born with an eternal, sunshine-shiny smile that touched quite a few life, on March 24th, 1941, in Birmingham, AL, and handed absent peacefully at dwelling with her household on August 8, 2021. Fran graduated in the Class of 1959 from Northeast Substantial Faculty in Oklahoma City. She continued her education at Stephens College or university in Columbia, MO, and then at Oklahoma State College in Stillwater, Ok. She was the President of her sophomore pledge course in the Pi Beta Phi Sorority and gained a B.A. Diploma in Communications from OSU as the very first woman graduate of the College of Radio-Tv. Early in her senior calendar year, Fran began relationship her ideal higher education good friend and fellow classmate, Bob Callaway. They fell madly in appreciate and had been

She is survived by her partner Bob, son Trey Callaway, daughter Kendell Callaway Mooney, daughter-in-legislation Nancy Neufeld Callaway, mom-in-legislation Helen L Cowan, and four adoring grandchildren, Collin Mooney, Clementine Callaway, Crockett Callaway, and Cosmo Callaway.
A specific Memorial Support celebrating Reverend Fran Callaway’s everyday living will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Smith, 116 N 12th St, at 1PM on Friday, August 13th. In lieu of flowers, the loved ones requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
