Iris Jean Sweat Johnson Mixon—wife, mom, grandmother (“Mema”) and friend—died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, subsequent a temporary ailment. She was 83.

She was born in 1937 to Archie and Betty Sweat. She was lifted in the Forks of the Hurricane wherever she ongoing to get in touch with property all of her lifestyle. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 23, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 24, from the Beulah Baptist Church.

Interment will comply with in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Dan Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Austin Johnson, David Johnson, David Morgan, Joseph Griner and Kager Moody.

The family requests that users of the Beulah “Sunshine” Sunday College course provide as honorary pallbearers. They are requested to fulfill at the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
