Jennifer Alice Peters

Jennifer Alice Peters, 70, of Weston slipped gently into the arms of the Lord to be a part of these who experienced absent ahead of her on August 31, 2021. She passed unexpectedly in the ease and comfort of her very own residence.

Jennifer was born in Weston on June 9, 1951, a daughter of the late Brooks Moody Sr. and Ruth Leora Taylor Moody.

She was greeted by her loving partner of nearly 49 several years, Kenneth “Pete” Earl Peters. They were married on Oct 25, 1969, and Jennifer missed him dearly after his passing on June 23, 2019.

In addition to her parents and spouse, Jennifer was preceded in loss of life by one particular brother, Raymond Moody.

Without end cherishing their memories of Jennifer are two little ones: Tracy Duncan and partner, Jack, and Mark Peters each of Horner 4 grandchildren: Taylor Beckner and husband, Tyler, of Weston, Olivea Duncan of Horner, Makenzie Smith of Ireland, and Bethany Smith of Clarksburg two terrific-grandchildren: Madilynn “Gracie” Beckner and Kora Beckner two brothers: Brooks Moody Jr, and wife, Patricia, and Dana Moody and spouse, Wanda one particular sister-in-law, Nancy Moody mother-of-the-coronary heart, Mildred Casto and various nieces and nephews.

After graduating from Lewis County Higher Faculty in 1969, Jennifer continued her instruction and attended nursing college at Salem Global University-Tokyo. She put in in excess of 15 years as a buyer provider agent and dispatcher for Dominion before retiring to treatment for her partner, Pete. Pete and Jennifer appreciated their travels and in particular their all-working day journeys to the Petersburg and Moorefield places wherever they frequented flea markets. She also cherished doing the job with flowers, attending concert events, camping, picnics, and expending time with her women. Jennifer treasured her camp in Linn and soothing among nature while developing reminiscences with her small children and grandchildren. She was a member of Miles Chapel and also attended Valley Chapel United Methodist Church.

Spouse and children and good friends will gather for Visitation at Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service found at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. Jane Lew from 12-3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Funeral Expert services will begin at 3 p.m. in the Pat Boyle Funeral Property Chapel with Pastor Kenny Kendall officiating. Interment will observe at Forest Garden Memorial Gardens in Jane Lew.
