Sandra J. Nelson, age 62, of Pipestone, Minnesota died on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at the Pipestone County Hospice Residence.
Sandra Jo Nelson was born on September 13, 1958 to Dale and LeeAnn (Kindt) Stevens in Pipestone, MN in which she was lifted and attended school. All through substantial school, she waitressed at Lange’s Café.  In 1977, she graduated from Pipestone Significant College.  She then attended Pipestone VoTech where she researched Style Merchandising.  On October 7, 1978, Sandy married Greg Nelson at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pipestone.  Following her graduation from Pipestone VoTech in 1979, she accomplished her internship at Younkers in Sioux Falls, SD.  From 1983-1987, she was a product sales supervisor at Geyermans in Pipestone.  She then became bookkeeper for their business enterprise, Greg’s Welding in Pipestone and coached superior university cheerleading in her spare time.  On August 5, 2021, Sandy entered the Pipestone County Hospice House where she died peacefully on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at the age of 62 decades, ten months and 27 days.
Sandy was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pipestone.  She was also a member of Sagio Club and the Hiawatha Club. Her preferred recollections of large college have been synchronized swimming and cheerleading. She liked golfing, purchasing, amusement park rides and decorating for the Vacations. Sandy’s “love language” was gift giving, she took delight in finding the perfect reward for her youngsters, grandchildren and some others.  Sandy loved Sunday afternoon convertible rides. She and her spouse put in many summers driving motorbike to Yellowstone, Niagra Falls, Tennessee, Black Hills and La Crosse, Wisconsin. She was an avid sports enthusiast.  Sandy performed coed volleyball with her close pals for 30 a long time.  She particularly loved subsequent her young ones in sports and driving the van for the high university golfing group to all the meets. Sandy had a contagious giggle and loved cooking and was regarded for getting ready meals “Sandy Nelson Hot”.
She is lovingly remembered by her partner, Greg Nelson of Pipestone 4 little ones, Tammi Bauer (Kevin Sampson) of Tacoma, WA, Michael (Amy) Nelson of Pipestone, Chad (Chelsea) Nelson of Peyton, CO and Kayla (Noel) Carstensen of Dell Rapids, SD seven grandchildren, Ethan Sampson, Knox and Bergan Nelson, Braxton and Brynleigh Nelson, and Gabriella and Theodore Carstensen her mother, LeeAnn Stevens of Pipestone her five siblings, Bryce Stevens of Pipestone, David (Kim) Stevens of Hayward, WI, Carol (Clarence) Rasmussen of Alexandria, MN, Rick (Jean) Stevens of St. Cloud, MN and Kristi Stevens of Alexandria.  She was preceded in demise by her father, Dale Stevens her sister, Lynda Stevens and her nephew, Justin Stevens.  
Visitation was held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, August 13, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pipestone. Funeral provider took position on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 10:00 AM at the church. Interment adopted in the New Woodlawn Cemetery in Pipestone.Arrangements have been entrusted to Hartquist Funeral Dwelling – Pipestone Chapel.
