Samuel Monroe McConnell, 86, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, handed absent in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 18, 2021.

He is survived by his loving spouse of virtually 67 yrs, Joyce Belcher McConnell. He is also survived by his daughter, Teresa McConnell Torbett and her spouse Mickey Torbett of Cleveland granddaughter Amanda Torbett of Chattanooga grandson, Jackson Walker of Cleveland son-in-legislation, Todd Walker of Cleveland as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in demise by his youngest daughter, Tracey McConnell Walker in 2020.

Sam was the youngest and final remaining little one of John Houston McConnell and Lucy Reynolds McConnell. His siblings, all deceased, included Bernice Tinsley, T.R. Very little, Gladys McConnell Lipps, Arven McConnell, Nellie McConnell Carson, Phillip McConnell, Fletcher McConnell, John H. (Shorty) McConnell, Marjorie McConnell Snyder, Clifford McConnell, and Freida McConnell Cronan. He was a 1953 graduate of Bradley Central Significant Faculty, and was utilized as the sections supervisor by C.C. Card Auto/Bob Card Ford for 42 years. Sam was a lifelong member and attendee of East Side Church of Christ. 

Sam’s satisfaction and pleasure was his family he beloved to notify them each individual how proud he was and how substantially he liked them any chance he got. Sam cherished Parksville Lake and the time he spent there together with his household and extensive time pals Kay and Neal Officer.
