James Everett Obituary (1951 – 2021) – Conroe, TX

James Edward Everett was born April 13, 1951 in Livingston, Texas to Robert Edward Everett and Dorothy Jean Jordan. He peacefully handed away July 4th, 2021 at his dwelling in Conroe, Texas at the age of 70.

James is survived by his wife, Shirley of 47 decades and his young children Sheri Everett of Beaumont, Tonya Hudson and partner Jason of Corpus Christi and James Ryan Everett of Conroe. Grandchildren Lance Moody, Logan Moody, ENS Clay Hudson, USN, Jamie Moody, Rebecca Hudson, Pierce Everett and Cole Hudson. 1 great-grandchild, Ava Moody.

Also survived by sister, Charlene Everitt, brother Thomas Everett, brother Howard and wife Sherrie Salge, sister Alicea Johnson and uncle, Charles Dodd. Mom-in-regulation Melba Rose, Father-in-regulation Charles Davenport and spouse Margaret, sisters-in-law Judy Runnels, Lisa and husband Bruce Merryman, Lorna and husband Troy Gardner and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in demise by his mom Dorothy, father Robert and stage-mother Gladys Everett, son Michael Edward Everett, brother Larry Ballard and sister Jeanette Burton.

James enjoyed and excelled as an athlete in his large school athletics but it was in baseball the place he was most gifted. He shared that reward years later on, coaching younger women the artwork of the activity. Soon after graduating from Shepherd Substantial College in 1969, he was drafted into the U.S. Army to serve a tour in Vietnam. He was injured there and concluded his support in Oklahoma.
