Sally Moody Obituary (1930 – 2021) – Kittanning, PA

Sally Lee (Hileman) Moody, 90, passed absent on Monday, May perhaps 17, 2021, in her Applewold home.

She was born Nov. 2, 1930 in Ford Metropolis, Pa., to Harold Rosenberry Hileman and Margaret Elizabeth (Shriver) Hileman.

She was elevated in Dogtown, was a proud Duck Cheerleader, and was topped Pass up Armstrong County.

She graduated from Ford City Substantial School in 1947 and then attended nursing school for a quick time.

She remaining nursing school because she was lovesick.

She and her higher faculty sweetheart, Bob Moody, eloped to Winchester, Va., in which they were being, most fittingly, married by Rev. Clark, a Baptist minister.

That marriage lasted 61 years right until the time of his demise.

Bob and Sally had 5 daughters: Sally, Robin, Dana, Melissa and Michelene. They later adopted and elevated a grandson, Christopher.

Sally was a devout Christian and a member of the Initially Baptist Church in Kittanning.

She cherished God, understood her bible from front to again, and served her church spouse and children by teaching Sunday University for far more than 60 decades.

Sally led many committees and sent many cards to church members.

She valued group support and served as president of the Applewold Borough Council, president of the Armstrong County Community Action Board, and as a committeewoman of the Armstrong County Democratic Get together.

Sally was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Fort Hand Chapter.
