Leroy “Lee” Lewis – Obituary – Mahoning Valley

Feb. 7, 1943 — June 18, 2021 (age 78)

STRUTHERS — Leroy “Lee” Lewis, 78, passed away peacefully Friday (June 18) at Briarfield at Ashley Circle in Austintown.

Lee was born Feb. 7, 1943, in Youngstown, a son of Everett R. and Sophie Kotick Lewis.

He graduated from Struthers Substantial Faculty in 1962.

He attended Fort Scott Junior College or university, exactly where he was later on recruited for football, transferring to the College of Miami in Florida in December 1964. While playing for the Hurricanes, he acquired All-Time Letterwinner honors, received the Most Useful Lineman Award in 1965 beneath head coach Charlie Tate and performed in the Orange Bowl.

Lee however retains two defensive data in soccer for the Hurricanes.

Right after graduating from The University of Miami, Lee taught mechanical drawing at Struthers Substantial College and was an assistant defensive soccer mentor under head coach Bob Cummings.

Lee was devoted to Struthers Substantial College and afterwards continued coaching alongside of head coach John Santillo.

In 1974, Lee suffered a lifestyle-modifying, traumatic vehicle incident currently being strike head-on by an impaired driver. Medical professionals informed his family that Lee would not have lived if it was not for his zest for existence and how sturdy and nutritious his entire body was. Owing to the toll exacted by the aftermath of the incident, Lee experienced to retire from training.

Lee was an avid racquetball and handball participant and a Struthers High University Alumni Hall of Fame inductee.

Harold Robert “Bob” Herriott

March 26, 1929 – June 16, 2021

MANSFIELD – Born Harold Robert “Bob” Herriott, 92, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at his house with his daughters by his side. The family members will have an open up residence at his residence in Mansfield on Monday, June 28, 2021, from 6-8 .pm. Casual dress and dress in your favourite hat. There will be a personal relatives inurnment. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Residence, Mansfield is in cost of arrangements.

Born on March 26, 1929, in Champaign County to Harold and Gretchen Herriott. He married Joyce Herriott on June 25, 1950, and begun an “all-lady” relatives as he set it. He married Virginia (Bird) Dawkins on Feb. 12, 1989. She preceded him in dying March 22, 2018. He was also preceded in death by his dad and mom and brother Invoice.

He is survived by his daughters: Jan (Randall) Allen, Homer, Sue Herriott (Jerry) Hinshaw, Hudson and their children: Hanna (Matt) Moody, Orin Allen, Lauren (Jonathon) Mosley, Anna (Tyler) Lyons, Lena (Alex) Head, and Cade Hinshaw fantastic grandchildren: Kimber, Calen, Camden, Tessa. He is also survived by stage children: Dee (Mark) Slack, Duane (Gaye) Dawkins, Rick (Lori) Dawkins, Diane (Tom) Williams 10 move-grandchildren: Ben (Betsy) Williams, Luke (Shannon) Williams, Emily (Noah) Schrader, Michael Culbertson, Clayton (Gina) Dawkins, Zeb (Ashleigh) Dawkins, Zac (Angelina) Dawkins, Zara (Steve) Dawkins, Ginny (Matt) Williams, Thomas (Paige) Williams 16 phase-fantastic-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Obituary: Elizabeth Brooks Hamlin (6/17/21)

Elizabeth Brooks Hamlin, 88 of Henry, Tenn., died Monday, June 14, 2021. She attended Springville, Atkins-Porter, and Grove colleges in Henry County, graduating from Grove in 1949. Elizabeth commenced working at Business Bank in advance of marriage, and afterwards as a civilian, she worked for the USAF for 25 yrs. She retired in 1988 from the Blytheville Air Pressure Base in Arkansas as the base recommendation program manager and moved back to Henry County in 1991. On retirement, she used various hrs researching the Hamlin genealogy and place with each other a reserve that covers numerous generations. It was said of Elizabeth that she expressed herself very best in ink, as she was a prolific author and the creator of several poems. She was a member of Mansfield Baptist Church. She was also a member of the BAFB Toastmaster’s Club, the Henry Bunn’s Club and served as County Vice President of FCE County Council. She was lively in spouse and children, community, and education and learning clubs. Elizabeth liked gospel tunes and dreamed of possessing musical expertise, even though, if you sat by her in church, you knew she did. She stuffed her house with music, appreciate, online games and a good deal of laughter.

Elizabeth was born Aug. 31, 1932, in Henry County, Tenn., to the late Hiram Cecil Brooks and the late Allene Kilpatrick Brooks. She was married Aug. 22, 1953, to Joel W. Hamlin, who preceded her in death on March 1, 2012.

Betty Mae Roberson West – The Coastland Situations

Mrs. Betty Mae Roberson West, age 87, handed away on Might 18th peacefully in Williamsburg, Virginia. She was born April 30, 1934 in Stuart, Virginia to the late (Ida) Mae Vaughn and Greely Roberson. Her partner of 58 years, James “Jim” Kirk West, predeceased her in 2014 together with brothers, C. B. Roberson, Bennie Roberson, Riley Roberson, and Elmer Roberson. She graduated from Stuart Substantial College and attended Radford University, George Washington University and The Faculty of Hampton Streets where by she majored in accounting. She retired as Paymaster of Dow/BASF in Williamsburg where she oversaw wage payroll for all the US Dow Chemical vegetation and had traveled extensively overseeing payroll functions. She was a constitution member of Walnut Hills Baptist Church in Williamsburg wherever she had taught Sunday School and was a member of the choir and the WMU. Following retiring from Dow BASF, she worked together with her partner in the relatives organization, West Machine Business, Inc. Upon the sale of the company and retirement of their family members enterprise they returned to Stuart to are living out their “golden years” where she liked flower gardens and vegetable gardens, painting just about anything and all the things that did not transfer, studying and attending Dobyns Primitive Baptist and Stuart Primitive Baptist the place her father had served as minister. Sally Moody Obituary (1930 – 2021) – Kittanning, PA

Sally Lee (Hileman) Moody, 90, passed absent on Monday, May perhaps 17, 2021, in her Applewold home.

She was born Nov. 2, 1930 in Ford Metropolis, Pa., to Harold Rosenberry Hileman and Margaret Elizabeth (Shriver) Hileman.

She was elevated in Dogtown, was a proud Duck Cheerleader, and was topped Pass up Armstrong County.

She graduated from Ford City Substantial School in 1947 and then attended nursing school for a quick time.

She remaining nursing school because she was lovesick.

She and her higher faculty sweetheart, Bob Moody, eloped to Winchester, Va., in which they were being, most fittingly, married by Rev. Clark, a Baptist minister.

That marriage lasted 61 years right until the time of his demise.

Bob and Sally had 5 daughters: Sally, Robin, Dana, Melissa and Michelene. They later adopted and elevated a grandson, Christopher.

Sally was a devout Christian and a member of the Initially Baptist Church in Kittanning.

She cherished God, understood her bible from front to again, and served her church spouse and children by teaching Sunday University for far more than 60 decades.

Sally led many committees and sent many cards to church members.

She valued group support and served as president of the Applewold Borough Council, president of the Armstrong County Community Action Board, and as a committeewoman of the Armstrong County Democratic Get together.

Sally was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Fort Hand Chapter.

Likelihood was born on May 30, 1984 in Somerset to Paul Douglas Moody and Tammy Lee Dagley Adams. Likelihood loved God, spouse and children and close friends and would do something for them. He actually experienced a coronary heart of gold. Most of all, he was pretty happy of his daughter, Haven, and appreciated expending time with her. Probability was charismatic with an infectious snicker and experienced the major smile that would mild up any place. He was a type hearted, loving, faithful and light soul. He was also potent willed and independent. Possibility never ever satisfied a stranger and chose to constantly see the fantastic in anyone. He liked restoring and restoring things to their likely price. He will be considerably skipped by all who knew and cherished him.
